STUDENT AFFAIRS

Southville International School and Colleges believes that the primary purpose of the Student Affairs program is to complement and enhance the college's central educational mission. The philosophy is based on self-governance where students assume responsibility for themselves and their actions. The Student Affairs addresses the broad range of student experiences within a highly rigorous academic environment.

The Student Affairs Office (SAO) is both administrative and a service office. It performs administrative functions because it serves to enforce and implement all policies and regulations of the institution with respect to students’ general conduct, behavior and discipline of student organizations, programs, fora, and other activities.

It is also a service office because it serves and looks after the interests of students.

Objectives of the Student Affairs and Discipline Office:

1.   To design and realize activities relevant to the student welfare and
      development
2.   To complement and enhance the educational mission of each college
through various internal and external activities
3.   To provide an effective support that reflects and addresses the
broad range of student experiences within a highly rigorous
      academic environment
4.   To empower students and organizations head to conduct activities
