Provides the students with an understanding of one of the largest industries in the world. Specific subject areas include the evolution of the tourism industry, destination geography, airlines, international travel, cruising travel by rail, lodging, and touring agencies. The curriculum is designed on the latest trends and demands of the tourism industry. With extensive industry practicum, students develop an understanding of the importance of marketing in the tourism industry, as well as recognize the tremendous opportunities in the world of travel.
