Southville Tankers finish strong at swim meet




Kayleen Keh of Gr. 6 – Perseverance swam fast and hard to take the top spot in the 50-meter butterfly ofthe St. Stephen High School Inter-School Invitational Swim Meet 2014 held recently. She was also a top finisher in the 50-meter backstroke, finishing second, and was fifth in the 50-meter freestyle and seventh in the 50-meter breaststroke.
 
In the same competition, Andrew Velez of Gr. 2 - Franklin got plaques for finishing in second and third place in the 50-meter breaststroke and 50-meter
freestyle, respectively.
 
He also won ribbons for ending in fourth place in the 50-meter butterfly and fifth place in the 50-meter backstroke while breaking all his personal and
training records.
