Southville stamps class in Acad Olympiad




SISC delegates made a strong showing at this year’s Southville Global Education Network’s (SGEN) Academic Olympiad held last November 21, 2014 at Stonyhurst Southville International School - Batangas. The event featured the best and the brightest Basic Education students from the SGEN member schools namely South Mansfield College, Stonyhurst Southville International School - Batangas, Stonyhurst Southville International School - Malarayat, and SISC.
 
Nathalie Butler of Gr. 9 - Compassion was declared winner of the Spelling Bee contest. In the Quiz Bee on History, Mathematics, and Science, the SISC Team of Kwak Hyo Sang, Lee Chan Hee and Kim Shan Lee finished first runner-up. Lastly, Svetlana Riguera of Gr. 10 – Leadership placed first runner-up in the Impromptu Speaking event.
