Southville Tourism Students Explore Palawan

Aimed at giving students first- hand experience of the country’s local tourism industry, the BS Tourism II students of the Southville International School and Colleges recently had their educational trip in Palawan.

The trip was an opportunity for the students to explore Palawan’s geographical profile, culture, language, population, and even religion. “It was a very fulfilling experience. We had to withstand the very long and bumpy drive from Puerto Princesa to El Nido. Nevertheless, it was all worth it. We enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking plus the candelight dinner by the calm beach,” says one of the participants.

The recent educational trip is just one of the many trips that BS Tourism students are exposed to. This is done to ensure that the students have enough exposure to both local and international tourism which they can apply when they graduate from college.
