General Assembly 2015 Dubbed as the Best GA in 16 Years



June 24, 2015 – Southville International School and Colleges had gathered their college students from all courses in a General Assembly to officially welcome the First Semester of Academic Year 2015-2016.

The occasion held at SISC Monarchs Gym 1 started cordially as enthusiastic students milled in to register themselves before proceeding inside. The usual opening rites of prayer, national anthem, entrance of colors, and the typical humdrum flow of the program was made livelier through of the genius hosting of the Masters of Ceremony, Miss Pauleen Gregorio and Mr. Randolph Nonato.

Students cheered their hearts out with pride as Mister and Miss MC called out course programs one by one to see whether they are happy and contented with the first step they’ve taken towards their dream career.

The gymnasium was filled with ohs and ahs when Dean Aris Ignacio of College of Information Technology, then absent for an official business in Argentina, went online in Skype to not miss welcoming his students during then College Deans introduction.

College of IT totaled of 4 out of the Top 10 Dean’s List this year including Top 2, Josef Perez; Top 6, Red Gabanan; Top 8, John Benedict Nicolas; Top 10, John Panes.

Other awardees from other course programs are: Top 1, Yzelle Dela Rea of BEEd SPED; Top 3, Jan Rasia Laurel of BSBA Mktg; Top 4, Regine Flores of BS Psychology; Top 5, Gerald Deinla of BSBA Mktg; Top 7, Jeraldine Jardio of BS Accountancy; Top 9, Jan Elisha Pillerva of AB MMA.

The newly reformed SISC Dance Troupe’s entertained students with the latest dance crazes such as Uptown Punk, Nae Nae and an out of this world fighting choreography in promotion to the upcoming Star Wars play on December 2016.

The successfully conducted General Assembly was dubbed as “the best GA in 16 years” by the management team due to the combined eager participation of the student body and the superb preparation of the presenters.
