Southville Gives Back to the Community with the 4th Southville for Others

Southville International School and Colleges officers, teachers, and staff will step away from their classrooms and offices to volunteer for a day in Baranggay CAA on November 12, 2016.

More than 500 Southville volunteers will join Southville for Others (SFO) will help in landscaping, facilitate a job fair, donate sewing machines for livelihood programs, educate local school children through storytelling, educational and leadership workshops, improve the library of CAA Elementary School through book donations, and conduct a medical mission for residents specially the senior citizens.

SFO Day builds on SISC’s long-standing commitment to use service as solutions to challenges in renewing and energizing local communities. Since its founding 24 years ago, SISC has engaged in active philanthropy with the primary focus being participation in community service projects in which its students and employees can take an active role. Volunteerism is entrenched in SISC’s culture and the school has created SFO Day to help employees increase the impact of their own charitable giving.
