Southville Gives Back to the Community with the 4th Southville for Others

November 12, 2016 - Southville International School and Colleges officers, teachers, and staff will step away from their classrooms and offices to volunteer for a day in Baranggay CAA.

More than 500 Southville volunteers joined Southville for Others (SFO) to conduct a medical mission for its residents especially patients with hypertension and diabetes, deliver reading activities through PoUCH on Wheels, conduct Leadership and Personality Development for graduating high school students of CAA National High School, improve the landscaping of the corner garden, beautify and repaint the façade wall and arc of Barangay CAA and plant bougainvillea along the CAA road.

SFO Day builds on SISC’s long-standing commitment to use service as solutions to challenges in renewing and energizing local communities. Since its founding 24 years ago, SISC has engaged in active philanthropy with the primary focus being participation in community service projects in which its students and employees can take an active role. Volunteerism is entrenched in SISC’s culture and the school has created SFO Day to help employees increase the impact of their own charitable giving.
