DOST Lauds Southville Mathelete




Southville International School and Colleges - In recognition of Gwyneth Margaux Tangog’s victory in an international mathematics competition held in 2016, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) conferred on her the Youth Excellence in Science (YES) Award last March 13, 2017 at the DOST IV-A Science & Technology Complex in Los Baños, Laguna.

Gwyneth’s win in the 12th International Mathematics Competition (IMC) held in Singapore last July 2016 earned her the much coveted recognition.

The YES Award is a DOST institutional award for exemplary achievement of the youth in the fields of science and mathematics. The Secretary’s Medal is conferred to winners of international science and math competitions that have been duly registered with SEI-DOST by national organizers.

Gwyneth's recognition is a testament Southville's dedication and commitment to providing students excellent international education in a positive and caring environment.
