IB Class 2017 Set to Make their Mark in the World

Southville International School and Colleges - The International Baccalaureate Class 2017 stood proud and tall as they marched to receive their awards and diplomas yesterday, June 9, 2017 at Luxembourg Hall in SISC.

The commencement ceremony awarded the graduating class of 2017 with their IB diplomas and recognized the Loyalty, Academic Subjects and Honors awardees with medals and certificates.

Proud parents, teachers, friends and classmates broke into loud cheer when the awardees of Academic Excellence were recognized. Bronze was given to Justin Chua, Sophia Concordia, Sofia Jovellana, Maiji Lahtinen, Youn Jun Na, Andrea Par and Diyamaria Pudota. Silver was given to Hyun Jin Jang, Jilliano Roman and Miguel Santos. Gold, the highest honor was given to Svetlana Riguera and Bishakha Srivastava.

As the graduates are set to go to various elite universities around the globe, Southville hopes that the graduates will continue to live by the virtues of Character, Competence, Creativity, Collaboration and Commitment to Achieve and become active movers of society, able to enact proper changes in the world.
