5Cs at its Best in Socio Anthro and Rizal Classes

"Reading maketh a full man; conference, a ready man; and writing an exact man." - Francis Bacon.

South SEED-LPDH College (SSLC) believes in the full development of the students to ensure their success in their career after graduation. Students do not just listen to lectures, answer quizzes and practice exercises and be ready for the board exams. First and foremost, SSLC believes that students need to be aware not only about the present but of the past as well to understand better the present situations.

"While students could get a lot of information through reading and listening to lectures, I believe, they should be actively involved in their learning through exchange of ideas, sharing their opinions and listening to the opinions of others, and analyzing their opinions and the other people's opinions in written form." Thus, is the explanation of Mr. Joseph Cipriano, instructor of the classes in Sociology and Anthropology and The Works and Life of Rizal why he usually conducts such activities in his classes.

On October 11, 2017, students in Socio Anthro went on a journey in the past by discussing what various anthropologists did in relation to humankind's origin and social relationships.

On the other hand, students of the Life and Works of Rizal relived the genius acts of Rizal, his sacrifices for the Filipinos and related it to the social and political situations of the Philippines today and the present family concerns.
