SGEN Presidents benefit concert to raise funds

Presidents from the Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) will headline “AMOUR – The Greatest Love of All” BENEFIT CONCERT for economically disadvantaged college students to access meaningful quality education. The concert will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, 7 p.m. at the Insular Life Corporate Centre Auditorium, Insular Life Drive, Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the scholarship programs of SGEN’s SEED Academy and South SEED – Las Piñas Doctors Hospital College.

The theme of the concert is “love, compassion and action” and how they intertwine to “educate the youth.” “AMOUR – The Greatest Love of All” BENEFIT CONCERT features Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) President Dr. Marl Ferenal, SEED Academy’s President Dr. Jerry Aguilar, and Las Piñas Doctors Hospital President Dr. Manny Almelor. Musical artists in their own right, the Presidents will lend their voices to provide accessible college education to intellectually capable but financially challenged students.

The concert will trace a timeline of musical compositions stretching from the ‘60s to the 21st century. Selections to be performed include the world’s most romantic ballads, well-known standards, and the latest Top 40 songs. Additional tunes include beloved songs from Broadway musicals and classics of Original Pilipino Music.
