Gen Mark Tanno, an incoming Grade 10 Southville student, and a consistent winner of local and international Math competitions has proven once more his other giftedness after placing second in the recently held 2013 Philippine Union of Karate Kobudo (PUKKO) National Karatedo Championship in Sta. “Ever since Gen Mark joined our Karate Club at Southville, I have witnessed how dedicated he is in our training sessions. He never fails to practice despite his busy schedule, balancing his studies and other co-curricular activities. I am proud of what he has become,” said Sensei and French Teacher, Leo de Mesa.
