Southville Alumna Represents Team Philippines in Bangkok

Class 2011 High School Valedictorian and Basketball Varsity Player Alyanna Ong recently represented Philippines in the 1st FIBA Asia 3x3 U18 Championship for Boys and Girls in Bangkok, Thailand.

Now a sophomore college, Alyanna has never failed to inspire fellow Monarchs to continuously develop their talents and skills. She regularly drops by during varsity practices and school sports events to share her expertise. If her schedule would permit, she would drop by during varsity practices and school sports events to share her expertise.

“Alyanna is always an example I give to our student-athletes to look up to because she is excellent in academics and at the same time, passionate and committed in her sport. She is truly a reflection of what a Southville Monarch should be,” said Ms. Rea Villa, Southville Athletics Director.
