Southville Joins U.S. Memorial Day 2012



Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) joined the U.S. community in remembering the men and women who have died in military service for the United States. Representing the school during the U.S. Memorial Day held last May 27 were SISC Director for Public Relations, Dr. Jerry Aguilar and Southville Global Education Network Business Development Director, Dr. Alfred Millevoi. The event held at the U.S. Embassy, Manila was attended by government officials spearheaded by Vice President Jejomar Binay, executives, leaders, and other dignitaries.

 


The United States (U.S.) Memorial Day is annually observed on the last Monday of May. Originally known as Decoration Day, it is an occasion that honors the service and sacrifice of all the men and women in uniform, and their families who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
