Southville Media Arts and Comm Arts Students off to the ‘Grand Prix’



Composed of competent and creative Media Arts and Mass Communication students, Southville made it to the finals of the 2012 National Public Relations Students Conference and Grand Prix Competition.

Considered as the most prestigious interschool competition for Public Relations, this year’s conference, with the theme “YOUth on Social Media,” aims to showcase digital media as an emerging powerful tool in the public relations industry.

The team of students from the Colleges of Mass Communication and Media Arts is composed of Bernardino, Timothy (ABMMA3), De Lumen, Loraine (ABMMA3), Delos Reyes, Carla (ABComm3), Delos Reyes, Catrina (ABMMA1), Diduro, Erika (ABMMA2), Dinglasan, Guadalupe (ABComm3), Felipe, Jaresa (ABComm4), Grinstead, Katherine (ABMMA3), Gould, Andrea (ABComm4), Jacildo, Jairose (ABMMA2), Jarina, Kate (ABComm4), Katigbak, Ysabelle (ABComm1), Lopez, Nicollo (ABComm4), Manaloto, Sean (ABMMA1), Plaza V, Kitto (ABComm4), Quijano, Anthony (ABComm4), Romualdez, Dara (ABComm1), Sibugan, Saudan (ABMMA2), and Vistan, Katrina (ABComm1).

The final leg of the competition includes an oral presentation of the campaign at the 2012 National PR Students Congress on November 17-18, 2012.
