Southville Seniors Win in Regional Essay Writing



Fourth year high school students Dominique Martine Esguerra and Juliana Maria Masilungan finished in the top ten of the 2nd Goodwill Bookstore Essay Writing Contest. The said competition was participated in by more than ninety student-writers from both public and private schools in the National Capital Reigon.

 

The content, style, and coherence of their essays on the environmental awareness among the youth entitled “Going Green in the Philippine Scene - A Trendy Attempt or a Timeless Effort” impressed the judges. With their hard work and creativity, they received certificates of recognition as well as gift checks at the awards ceremony held at the SMX Convention Center last September 16, 2011.
