"Southville’s Poor Urban Child (POUCH) was a program that made an impact in my life. As a future nurse, caring is part of the values that we must uphold in our lives. Through POUCH, I was able to learn early the importance of caring for other individuals through serving and sharing with the beneficiaries of POUCH what they are not privileged to have." read more>>

IT Department Launches Outreach Program for Kids

BS Information Technology (IT) instructors and students of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) recently conducted an outreach program dubbed Awareness on Technology for the Kids (ATK) at CAA Phase 4 Day Care Center.

The said program centered on computer familiarization through visual learning. Student officers of the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) – SISC Chapter, together with their instructors and BS IT Chairperson Dr. Chit Crisostomo, delivered lecture and distributed hands-on kits on technology awareness. Parent volunteers also made the coaching easier.

The IT Department remains committed to continue this noble cause of introducing technology-driven instruction to preschool children. The next ATK session is slated on January 2012.
