Rockin’ IB, Smashing Hit
Dressed in black and white polo shirts and pants, some accessorized with neckties, International Baccalaureate 2 (IB) students in their most rocking outfits swayed the whole gymnasium with their own version of Greenday’s Wake Me Up When September Ends and Hillsong’s One Way.
Kyeom Kio, lead vocalist of IB 2 Band said, “We are here for two purposes. One is to welcome the new IB students. Second is to show how strong the spirit of IB is.”
Apart from the concert, movie projects of former IB 1 students were shown encompassing the visual and theatrical concepts they learned during their classes.
Mr. Marl Ferenal, SISC President graced the event. In his talk, he encouraged IB students to become holistic individuals by developing their talents and intellectual capacity which are all honed in IB program.
Rocking IB was the culminating activity of IB Orientation held on August 26-30, 2008.
