Do you want to be a published author one day? Southville alumna and gifted writer Jayra Almanzor shares what she does.

1.) I write whatever comes to mind. One thing I always see when my classmates from Canada approach me with their novels-in-the-making is that they’re always just two chapters in because they keep editing. While editing is integral in writing, it should, in my opinion, be done at the end as it only distracts one’s flow when writing.
