Monarchs win in International and National Math and Science contests

Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) mathletes won in various math competitions held here and abroad. Ervin Joshua Bautista of Gr. 6 – Perseverance bagged a gold medal in the Autumn Round of the VI International Tournament Mathematics without Borders featuring 21,126 contestants from 20 countries.

Kristner Sheyn S. Saludo of Gr. 5 – Loyalty , on the other hand, earned a Bronze Medal in the 2018 Asian Science and Mathematics Olympiad held in Universiti Malaysia Sabah in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia last November 2-5, 2018. Bautista and Saludo then teamed up with Deeyon Rouche Tolentino of Gr. 6 – Perseverance to place third out of the 50 schools who competed in Sipnayan 2018, one of the most prestigious math competitions in the country organized by the Ateneo Mathematics Society.
