My teachers, especially Dean Carmel, believed that I could top the Nursing board exam. She inspired me to do my best. Ms. Liza pushed me to become a leader; she took me out of my comfort zone and made me president of the student organization for nursing. Gino ROSALES-ginois unlike any other student. As his Coordinator, Clinical instructor and Mentor during his BSN IV journey, I witnessed how he has imbibed Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) core values. Along with his exceptional analytical abilities, I personally witnessed how he manifested his commitment to achieve his goal. Truly a driven person, his score of 98% in the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) was expected. For this, he was accepted in the University of Santo Tomas (UST) College of Medicine. Though he did not graduate on top of his class, people expected him to get a high score in the recently concluded Nurse Licensure Examination. So, when his name was listed among the Top Ten, no one got surprised. Moreover, I wouldn’t be surprised  in the future if he makes it to the top of the Physician Licensure Examination... karyl1 We first met Karyl May Gebeck, a 3rd year nursing student at the Southville International College of Nursing, at a Lifeline Community Medical Mission in Quezon City in 2009. She has since joined several Medical Missions and has travelled with other Lifeliners to the Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro; Floridablanca, Pampanga; Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya as well as other parts of the Philippines.
