Mr. and Ms. Southville Amaze SGEN Crowd

“If I were given a chance or power to change or improve something in my school, I would definitely change on how people view themselves. Because as teenagers, we see ourselves less than on what we really are, but we're more than that. Because God sees you as a beautiful person, and we should see ourselves as beautiful too,” said Alex Derpo in the Q&A Portion of 2016 Mr. and Ms. Teen Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) Pageant.

The 2016 Mr. and Ms. Teen SGEN Pageant, showcasing the SGEN students’ confidence, creativity and wit, was participated by the 6 different SGEN schools: Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), Stonyhurst International School (SSIS) Malarayat and Batangas, South Mansfield College (SMC), Southvillle International School and Foreign Affiliates (SISFU) and SEED Academy. The candidates of SISC were Alexa Therese Derpo of Grade 10 and Sancho Calderon of Grade 11.

The star-studded board of judges led by Mr. LA Aguinaldo, with Mr. Mishael Dayrit Fernandez, Ms. Candy De Luzuriaga, Ms. Winwyn Marquez, and Ms. Celine Aguinaldo, determined the winners:

Mr. and Ms. Teen SGEN 2016- Yñigo Plata and Cardelyn Hernandez of SSIS Batangas
1st runner up- Calvin Satin of SSIS Malarayat and Alexandra Therese Derpo of SISC
2nd runner up- John Nicholas Mabale of SEED Academy and Princess Aguinaldo of SISFU

The pageant was one of the highlights of Southville at 26, celebrating Southville’s 26 years of providing high quality international education in the Philippines.
