Southville Got Art! Southville Exhibits Student Artworks

October 18, 2016 - The Art Appreciation classes of Prof. Thelma L. Badon of Southville International School and Colleges culminate the semester with an art exhibit featuring the students’ artworks.

With the theme “Portrait Timeline: Art History through Tableau”, the exhibit aims to carry out the real meaning of art and its significance to develop a strong foundation for the youth through appreciation in the arts. It aspires to educate the Southville community by showcasing historical timeline of art in one occasion relevant to their course study.

The course work and exhibit developed students’ competence and creativity in problem solving, communication, time and resource management that contribute to lifelong learning and career skills through this exercise. The students learn the relevance of visual arts to their chosen field of discipline.
