IB CAS Students Visit Local Muslim School

Southville International School and Colleges - International Baccalaureate (IB) students paid a visit to an Islamic school as part of their Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) commitment. IB student Hyun Soo Lim described his experience dropping by a school focused on religious study of Islam.

Last Saturday, 19th November, we visited Sultan Esmael School in Dasmariñas, Cavite. The purpose was to donate books, dolls, and soft toys. We met students at the school and the Principal made us feel very welcomed! The children sang to us in Arabic, and were very happy for the gifts!

We had an opportunity to visit the Madrasa School and the mosque, and had a tour of the barangay. We then met a senior scholar and went off to a Korean restaurant for lunch. We had the unique experience to visit a different culture very near Manila. It was an unforgettable experience!
