ACTS-Manila at Southville Ballet Students Ready for Recital 2017

ACTS-Manila at Southville ballet students are ready to go onstage tonight, May 24, 2017, to present their learning and skills in the ballet recital 2017 Modern Classics at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

The students under the Primary, Level 1 and Advanced classes will dance their prepared routine in culmination of their year-long ballet lessons. Last year, the Advanced class’ interpretation of “Best Day of My Life” was a total hit, with their delicate moves contained in the upbeat tempo; while the Primary and Level 1 class danced their hearts out in pink tutus as the audience cheered them for their enthusiasm and potential.

“I am glad that our students excel in the field of performing arts. They are indeed multi-talented and are sure to be successful performers in the future,” says Ms. Avic Suarez, Principal of Basic Education.

Founded as a school for the gifted, Southville’s ballet program, in partnership with ACTS-Manila, is one of the school’s enrichment programs to develop student giftedness and multiple intelligences that Southville knows reside in all children.
