Dr. Marvin Jino Bugna

High School,

Class 2004-2005

"Southville trained me to become a responsible and disciplined person. It helped me become a good leader in many ways. It taught me the importance of helping others and studying hard in order to get good grades. Applying the 5C’s (Competence, Character, Collaboration, Creativity and Commitment to Achieve) and 5S’s (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) that Southville taught me was a great help that made a big impact and difference in my life in becoming a doctor." read more>>

SHS Students Return from Australian Study Tour

Senior High School students from Southville International School and Colleges took the study trip of a lifetime to Queensland, Australia last November 5 - 14, 2017. The goal of the trip is to give a global perspective of their subjects in Business Management, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Financial Literacy, and compare and contrast their education with that of other Pacific Rim countries.

The trip included differentiated lectures at Southern Cross University’s Gold Coast and Lismur campuses where the students learned first-hand practical skills and knowledge related to their track and planned course in college.

They also took part in a cultural immersion tour visiting the Skypoint Observation Deck, the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Byron Bay Lighthouse among others.
