Southville Captures 2013 Pacific Summer Volley Title in Guam



Southville International School and Colleges High School Volleyball Team brought home the 2013 Pacific Summer Invitational Volleyball Games Title after defeating three schools in straight sets during the two-day tournament held at St. Paul Christian School Gymnasium, Guam USA.
 
The tournament was hosted by Senator Tina Muña Barnes who also personally met the team and awarded the trophies and medals during the closing ceremony.
 
Composed of siblings Nathalie and Jan Atendido, Princess Carol David, Hannah Trisha Uy, Rey-Anne Adviento, Karren Delgado, Sabrina Santos, Cheska Sarmiento and Nadine Sheik, the team made a straight set of 25-17, 25-20 victory to capture the title.
 
“It is an overwhelming experience for the team. I am so honored to work with our students who are all passionate with their craft. These kids are really amazing,” said Ms. Rea Celine Villa, Southville Athletics Director.
