Dr. Marvin Jino Bugna

High School,

Class 2004-2005

"Southville trained me to become a responsible and disciplined person. It helped me become a good leader in many ways. It taught me the importance of helping others and studying hard in order to get good grades. Applying the 5C’s (Competence, Character, Collaboration, Creativity and Commitment to Achieve) and 5S’s (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) that Southville taught me was a great help that made a big impact and difference in my life in becoming a doctor." read more>>

Southville Students Excel in Chalk Art Contest

While a chalk is usually a teacher’s instrument in writing lectures, two SISC high school students mastered using this unconventional medium in making an art design.

Francheska Calara of Grade 10 Conviction and Juna Lee of Grade 9 Fortitude won 1st and 2nd places respectively in the Lyra On-the-Spot Colored Chalk Menu Board Design Contest held at Sanctuario de San Antonio Parish Center, Forbes Park, Makati City. Their finished artworks which are both visually stimulating and functional bested the signage designed by other high school students.

Creativity is one of the 5Cs that Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) aims to develop and equip its learners with. Thus, the school implements and supports programs which will enable students to exercise their imagination beyond limits and put their artistic concepts into action.
