Southville’s Math Wunderkind excels in 2013 ICAS – Science




Gen Mark Tanno, known as Southville International School and Colleges’ very own homegrown constant mathematical whiz proved to do extremely well not only in Math but also in another discipline – this time it’s Science by making it in the short list of top one percent participants in the recent 2013 International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) Science.
 In relation to this he earned a High Distinction certificate by placing Top 40 in the said assessment. Interpreting Data, Applying Data and Higher Order Skills are the key scientific areas wherein they were assessed by ICAS Science. Covered topics are Earth and beyond, (earth Sciences and Astronomy), Energy and Change (about Physics), Life and Living (Biology and Ecology), lastly, Natural and Processed Materials (relating to Chemistry).
