Southville Night School Emerged Winners in Stock Trading




Team Crunch from SEED Academy emerged as Champion in the recent Capital Market Competition participated in by Southville Global Education (SGEN) Community. The team, composed of Harold Sabanal, Arjay Almanzor, and Wilbert Beltran won a gold medal, P3,000 cash prize, and a Certificate of Excellence. Team Zero also from SEED Academy, ranked 2nd while Team SFU Lojo from Southville Foreign University placed third.
Junior Capital Market Institute of the Philippines (JCMIP) Secretary Patricia Samarita underscored the importance of research in stock investment. An investor should review the robustness of the selected company, industry trends, the condition of the market, and the price of the stock among others.
The Capital Market Stock Exchange Competition was spearheaded by Southville’s College of Business Education to educate SGEN stakeholders on the benefits of investment.
