College of Education Partners with Learning Centers

Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), represented by President Marl Ferenal, recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Director of Ridgeway Child Learning Center (RCLC), Mr. Ryan Almoite, and the Administrator of Advance Resource and Creative Solutions School, Inc. (ARCS), Ms. Redencion Uy to provide the venue, facilities and training to SISC Education students during their practicum. Also present during the event were the Dean of Education, Dr. Virginia Caneo, Head of Student Affairs, Ms. Floribel Ferrer and SISC supervising instructor, Ms. Phi Anh de Castro.

The event marked the formal collaboration between SISC, RCLC and ARCS. These learning centers have been chosen as partners in this educational endeavor because they offer services to children with specific needs.

The College of Education believes that through forged alliances like this, SISC students with major in Special Education will get a hands-on experience in preparation for their respective careers in the teaching profession.
