"Southville’s Poor Urban Child (POUCH) was a program that made an impact in my life. As a future nurse, caring is part of the values that we must uphold in our lives. Through POUCH, I was able to learn early the importance of caring for other individuals through serving and sharing with the beneficiaries of POUCH what they are not privileged to have." read more>>

Southville Sponsors Free Seminar for Caregivers and Drivers

As part of Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) thrust to strengthen school and home collaboration, the Preschool and Grade school Departments conducted a free seminar for caregivers and drivers of Preschool to Grade 7 students. It was held last July 2, 2011 at the Activity Center of Elizalde Campus.

SISC believes that aside from the teacher, caregivers such as house helpers and drivers play a big role in rearing children because they also spend a significant amount of time with them. The lecture centered on Positive Discipline and Developing Children Potentials. The affair also paved the way for effective interaction and sharing of best practices and experiences among the caregivers.
