Southville IB Students Hold Art Exhibit

As part of their final requirements, graduating International Baccalaureate (IB) students of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) recently held their Visual Arts Exhibit. IB 2 students showcased a variety of paintings, drawings, photography, and other works of arts in mixed media during the said event.  They also did an oral presentation of their masterpieces in the presence of an external examiner, Dr. Brenda Fajardo.

The IB Visual Arts course enables students to engage in practical exploration, artistic production, and critical investigation. It teaches students about design, structure and the aesthetic development of artworks. The exhibit, which also serves as the students’ final exam, encouraged the candidates to articulate their thoughts and demonstrate creative thinking.
