Abby Ousts 60 Plus Golfers

Winning for the zillionth time, Abegail Arevalo, a grade five student of Southville International School and Colleges, has proven once again her golf prowess as she ranked 17th in the recent Callaway Golf Junior World Golf Championships held on July 14-17, 2009.
Abby who started playing golf at age 3 ousted around 60 participants coming from USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, China, Japan and other Asian countries.
“Abby has brought so much pride not only to Southville International School and Colleges but to our country as well. Her diligence, passion for her sport and drive to excel are some of her many traits that make her truly world class,” exclaimed Ms. Marie Vic F. Suarez, the Preschool and Grade School Principal.
Other tournaments that Abby won were the San Diego’s Junior Masters Golf Tournament (2008), Riviera Sports Country Club (March 2006) – Champion, Riviera Qualifying for Singapore Round 1 (March 2006) – Champion, Alabang Jungolf (December 2005) – Champion, PARS Golf, St. Lucie, Florida (December 27-29, 2007) (3rd), Doral Publix Tournament, Miami Florida (December 18-20, 2007)(3rd), Tecolote, San Diego (July 10, 2007)(1st), Pepsi Little People Illinois (Champion) and others.
