IB Student Passes College Admission in 8 Int’l Universities

Thae Hoon An, a Year 2 student of the International Baccalaureate (I.B.) Programme of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), qualified for college admission to eight international universities. They are the following:


-Georgia Institute of Technology
-Purdue University
-University of California-Berkeley
-University of California-Los Angeles
-University of Illinois-Urbana Champaigne
-University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
-University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
-University of Texas-Austin


He applied for an Engineering course in the above-mentioned schools in the United States. He also qualified for the scholarship program of distinguished Purdue University, ranked 28th in the QS World University Rankings for its engineering and technology programs.


Thae Hoon was a consistent recipient of the gold academic excellence award from Grade 8 up to Grade 10 in SISC. Afterwards, he pursued the two-year I.B. Diploma Programme, a sophisticated two-year pre-university course covering a wide range of academic subjects and highly recognized by leading world universities as an entrance qualification.
