Alarcon, Masias receive JAPI Recognition

Southville International School and Colleges junior students Nathan Adriel Alarcon and Rene Mark Steven Masias received the most sought Junior Achievement of the Philippines Inc. (JAPI) Medal Award during the 42nd JAPI Awards Night held last March 30, 2011.
Nathan and Steven’s business plan for a multi-purpose banana extract spray that works as shoe polisher, metal cleaner, deodorizer, and sanitizer was among the twelve finalists in the first-ever FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge. The students’ business plan bested around a hundred entries in the competition.

The junior entrepreneurs Nathan and Steven, together with their Business Plan Adviser, Mr. Erwin Ragadio, are all excited for next year’s competition. Armed with the passion to compete in the international arena, Nathan and Steven are enthusiastic to come up with more innovative ideas that will impact the business world.
