For Dr. Luanne Jill Santos, Southville International School and Colleges has become a trusted partner in education across two generations. All her siblings studied at Southville, and now her own children — Ethan, Tabby, and Sadie — together with the children of her siblings, are continuing the family tradition. Southville has grown into more than a school for them; it is a community that has shaped their family’s journey for years.
Ethan’s story stands out. When he transferred to Southville in Grade 3, he was undergoing reading therapy for dyslexia. The school responded with compassion and support, adjusting exam papers to larger fonts and giving him extra time to finish his work. These accommodations made a lasting impact, and today Ethan has completed his postgraduate course, well-prepared to face professional challenges. Tabby, now in Grade 9, and Sadie, in Grade 7, are thriving in the same nurturing environment that helped their brother succeed.
For Dr. Luanne, one of Southville’s greatest strengths is the easy communication between parents and teachers, ensuring that every child’s needs are understood and addressed. She believes this supportive relationship is what makes Southville stand out, alongside its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
With Dr. Avic Suarez at the helm as Southville Principal,Dr. Luanne is confident that the school will continue to soar. For her family, Southville is not just an institution but a legacy — a place where values, skills, and confidence are built, preparing students to thrive in life and in the future
