The IC5 College Classes successfully hosted its Leadership Seminar with the theme “Lead with the 5Cs: Shaping Tomorrow’s Movers of Society.” The event drew active participation from students and faculty, highlighting the institution’s dedication to cultivating leaders who embody competence, character, commitment, collaboration, and creativity/innovation. The program was made possible through the invaluable support of College Director Dr. Astrid De Leon, along with the College Deans and Chairs.
The seminar’s highlight was the keynote lecture of Ms. Lesley “Lee-an” Rosal, a theology professor and youth minister. A graduate of the Master in Religious Studies major in Catechetics from Don Bosco School of Theology and currently pursuing her PhD in Systematic Theology at Loyola School of Theology, Ms. Rosal shared meaningful insights on leadership mindset, values, social responsibility, and youth leadership. Her dynamic and interactive discussions inspired students to embrace leadership rooted in empathy, service, and responsibility.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the seminar advanced SDG 4 (Quality Education) by fostering lifelong learning and leadership skills, SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by empowering diverse student voices, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by promoting values-driven leadership. By integrating the 5Cs with the SDGs, IC5 College reaffirmed its mission to shape tomorrow’s leaders who will contribute to building inclusive, just, and sustainable communities.
