Centennial College Visits Southville: Strengthening Global Academic Ties


Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) welcomed a distinguished delegation from Centennial College, Canada, in a strategic meeting that marked a meaningful step toward expanding international academic partnerships and exploring collaborative opportunities in applied research, hyflex learning, and community health education.

Representing Southville Global Education Network (SGEN) were Dr. Jocelyn Tizon, President; Dr. Rolly Donato, Academic Director; Dr. Nancy De Guia, SISFU Executive Vice President; Mr. Daniel Steel, Director of Strategy and Partnerships; Dr. Rene Aligonero, Director of the International Linkages and Partnerships Office; Dean Ma. Carmelita Villegas of the College of Nursing; Ms. Kei Gabutero, Chairperson for Multimedia Arts; and Ms. Aisha Castro, Admin Associate for Linkages.

Centennial College’s delegation was led by Dr. Glen Lowry, Associate Vice President for Applied Research, Hyflex Learning, and Academic Partnerships. Joining him were Atty. Veronique Henry, Dean of the School of Community and Health Studies; Natashia Deer, Associate Dean; and Andrei Gabriel Balayan, Admissions and Digital Marketing Specialist.

The dialogue centered on shared goals in academic innovation, student mobility, and community impact. Both institutions expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations that will empower learners and educators across borders.
