“Save Thy Mother Earth,” the Little Monarchs Uttered

The Early Childhood Education (ECED) students from Munich and Star Campuses shine a light on the most pressing environmental concerns that affect us all during the 2019 Cultural Show. The little Monarchs from Nursery to Senior Kinder wore colorful ensembles and danced and sang their way into the heart and mind of their audience as a way of saving Mother Earth. In the process, they also displayed what they learn in school which is the 5Cs (Competence, Character, Collaboration, Commitment to Achieve, Creativity).

Mr. Jude Russel Cuntapay made it to the list of bright young leaders set to leave for Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Spring 2019, April of this year. YSEALI, an Academic Fellowship Program sponsored by the U.S. government was launched in 2013 merging Asian nations promoting diplomacy and stronger ties among Asiatic young leaders from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. Participants were chosen based on their respective advocacies and scholastic endeavors which primary objective is to shape a better community.

Young Diplomats Rule Model United Nations

Twenty-three young diplomats were sent by Southville International School and Colleges to represent the said institution at the Model United Nations Assembly 21st Conference. The team arrived at the World Health Organization Headquarters in formal wear armed with enough skills they need to survive the two-day exhaustive discussion on the world’s top issues. Southville Math whizzes win big in Singapore

Mathletes from Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) took part and won a total of three medals at the 2019 Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO X) held in Singapore last January 19, 2019. Kristner Sheyn Saludo of Gr. 5 – Loyalty won a gold medal for placing in the top 0.025% of the participating students from Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Jakarta, Brunei, Timor-Leste and the Philippines.
