Southville International School and Colleges’ (SISC) College of Tourism students recently attended a talk about getting a masters degree program in hospitality in Australia thru Mr. Derek Miligan, International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) Director for Student and Industry Engagements. Southville College of Psychology Hosts Mental Health Awareness Talk

In pursuit of its advocacy to raise awareness about mental health, the Psychology Society of Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), will conduct a talk on the current updates regarding suicide prevention and approaches to battling mental and emotional struggles on October 16, 2018, 1:00PM, at Luxembourg Hall.

Held in partnership with the Human Resources Society and INK Society, the event will focus particularly on STIGMA as the next battle for mental health. September 9 was, to put it simply, a walk to remember. The Grandparents’ Day celebration aptly titled “Heart and Sole”, was held in the Atrium of Ayala Alabang Town Center. It was well-attended by many a doting grandparent and not one frown was present in the crowd. The College of Tourism is set to hold Tourism Expo 2018 on September 20 and 21, 2018.

With the theme “Transforming our World, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, the event will have Attorney Reynaldo L. Ching as keynote speaker and will feature various activities such as a Quiz Bee, Poster Making Contest and the Search for the Junior Ambassadors.

Southville BS Accountancy Celebrates JPIA Night

The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – Southville International School and Colleges (JPIA-SISC) chapter, held its annual JPIA Night on September 6, 2018 at the Luxembourg Gym of SISC.

JPIA Night is an annual event where the Accountancy students gather for one night and celebrate each other’s hard work in the course. Southville Art Appreciation Students’ artworks were among those showcased in the Art for Everyone 2018 organized by SM Supermalls.

The event is an annual art tradition that recognizes all Filipino artists, be they are the celebrated ones, novice, and students.

Last September 7, 2018, the College Library’s IDEABOX project opened a new featured exhibit, this time by the freshmen students of the College of Nursing.  This bunch of energetic students worked and conceptualized on a theme that would encompass facets and elements depicting what the BSN program at Southville was all about. The result turned out to be creative pieces of artwork made by individual students put together with the theme: College of Nursing…where learning meets life.
