Southville International School and Colleges has appointed Ms. Jocelyn P. Tizon as acting president to advance the mission and vision of the school. Ms. Tizon graduated cum laude with a degree in Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics at Siliman University. SISC alumnus, Jose Enrico Quinsaat, visited Southville last January 7 with a long-held collection of stamps and paper bills donated to the school’s museum. Joined by his mother, Mrs. Zeny Quinsaat, he officially turned over his collection to support the school’s mission of providing a venue to conserve artistic and historical pieces in the southern part of Metro Manila. Eighteen student delegates, forty-three SILVER medals, sixty-six GOLD medals, one TROPHY… Monarchs showcased Southville’s intellectual supremacy during their debut competition at the World Scholar’s Cup – Tournament of Champions last November 16-21 at Yale University.

Cuitlauzina Brianna Cerbito, Akisha Julianne Cu, Renz Leobert del Rosario and Miguel Dominico Alzona made it to the list of Top 100 Champion Scholars awarded at the said competition where ALZONA and DEL ROSARIO were proclaimed Philippines’ Rank 1 and 2 respectively.

King’s College London welcomes Southville’s Alumna, Isabelle Young

Southville’s homegrown alumna is headed to one of the world’s top-ranking universities, King’s College London in January 2019.

In 2016, Isabelle Young graduated at the top of her International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) class. Having taken IB Biology at Higher Level fostered her interest in the natural science, which only deepened at the university.

Currently in her third year at Emory University, Isabelle is majoring in Biology. She assists in a research laboratory in the Biochemistry Department at the Emory School of Medicine. Outside of research, she is an Executive Board Member of the Asian Student Organization, a Chair of [Read more]

ACTS Manila – Southville Ballerinas Join Performance at the CCP

Company member Pam Buot and aspirants Clare Egalla, Pia Mercado and Reese Suarez, who started ballet training at ACTS Manila – Southville under the supervision of Director Jan Manlapig, made it to the roster of the ballet show Narratives in Motion staged last November 4, 2018, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Main Theater. The ballet company scouted talent from its affiliate schools to come up with twenty aspirants and seven company members who presented the show’s message of redemption and new beginnings.
