The 37th Annual Conference of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) and 19th AUAP Forum held last May 21 to 23, 2025, was more than just a gathering of academic leaders—it was a gateway to exciting new opportunities for Southville International School and Colleges (SISC).
One of the key highlights of the event was the forging of meaningful partnerships between SISC and six respected institutions across Asia. These include INTI International University (INTI U) in Malaysia, renowned for its strong industry linkages and emphasis on real-world and technology-driven learning; the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) in Ilocos Sur, a pioneer in heritage preservation, community development, and innovation research; and Gwangju Health University (GHU) in South Korea, noted for its global outlook and excellence in health sciences.
Also joining the roster of new partners are SEGi University, Colleges, and K-12 Schools, recognized for their comprehensive education ecosystem in Malaysia; World Citi Colleges, known for its commitment to quality education and practical training in health sciences; and WCC Aeronautical and Technological College, a leader in aviation and technology education in the Philippines. These new collaborations aim to enhance academic exchanges, promote cross-cultural learning, and open up more international opportunities for students and faculty alike.
These partnerships open doors to student and faculty exchange programs, collaborative research projects, and the creation of globally-relevant learning experiences. For SISC students and faculty, it means new chances to learn, grow, and connect with peers from across Asia, the Pacific, and beyond.
As the world becomes more interconnected, these new academic partnerships mark an important step forward—bringing global learning closer to home and helping shape a future where education knows no borders.
Together, we’re building bridges across borders! #GlobalEducation #SISCInternational #AUAP2025 #ProudlySouthville #SISC #Southville
