Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) made a strong mark at the inaugural Founders Day Dual Meet against Silliman University (SU), bringing home major victories and individual honors that showcased the Monarchs’ skill, grit, and sportsmanship.
The Monarchs dominated the hardcourt, emerging as Basketball Champions after an exciting run, and also claimed the crown in Football (Female Division) with their strong teamwork and relentless spirit.
SISC athletes also earned recognition for their exceptional performances, bringing pride to the Monarch community:
- Basketball Male MVP: Riley Smith
- Volleyball Male MVP: Ivan Galing
- Volleyball Female MVP: Yanna Macasieb
- Football Male MVP: Ivan Einjthoven
- Football Female MVP: Collen Siegel
Adding to the Monarch spirit, Dwayne Cabrera was named Mr. Sunshine Smile, representing the positivity, camaraderie, and sportsmanship that Southville athletes carried throughout the competition.
While Silliman University secured titles in volleyball and football (male), the Dual Meet proved to be more than just a showcase of wins—it was a celebration of unity, friendship, and the beginning of a tradition that will continue to bring out the best in both institutions.
