At Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), academic excellence is nurtured within a global environment where students are continually exposed to opportunities that prepare them for success beyond borders. On August 19, 2025, SISC welcomed representatives from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) for an engaging admissions talk that broadened the horizons of its high school and International Baccalaureate (IB) learners. Led by Mr. Tony Lam, Assistant Manager for International Student Recruitment, and Ms. Ayisha Madeleine Ong, a Filipino-Chinese student at PolyU, the session provided an in-depth look at studying in one of Asia’s most dynamic academic and cultural hubs. Students discovered a wide range of program offerings, industry-linked curricula, global research opportunities, and merit-based scholarships, while also gaining practical insights into student life in Hong Kong—from cost of living and English proficiency requirements to the rich multicultural experience of living and learning abroad.
The visit reinforced SISC’s unwavering commitment to preparing its students for success not just locally, but on the world stage. By connecting with globally renowned universities like PolyU, Southville empowers its learners to explore international pathways that enhance their academic credentials, cultural competence, and career prospects. With opportunities for internships, industry immersion, and global networking, SISC students are equipped to pursue education that transcends borders—opening doors to leadership and innovation in a truly interconnected world.
