Southville CITE’s CpE Students Achieve Safety Officer 2 Certification

The College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE) at Southville International School and Colleges proudly celebrates a major milestone: its 3rd Year Computer Engineering (CpE) students have successfully completed their Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training, officially earning their credentials as Safety Officer 2 (SO2). This accomplishment is not just a certification—it’s a transformative step toward shaping responsible, safety-aware professionals in the engineering field.

This achievement was made possible through the collaboration with Jobqehs Management Consultancy Service, whose team provided expert guidance and unwavering support throughout the training process. Their expertise ensured that the students received practical, high-quality instruction rooted in workplace safety and regulatory standards.

Special recognition also goes to Sir Tony Buena, CITE’s dedicated CpE instructor, for his commitment to mentoring and leading his students throughout the journey. His passion for excellence has once again paved the way for future-ready engineers.

With both technical proficiency and safety awareness, these students are now equipped to foster innovation in safe and sustainable work environments—an essential mindset in today’s dynamic industries.

“This success reflects the commitment of our faculty and partners to holistic education,” shared Dr. Aris Ignacio, Dean of CITE. “Empowering our students with safety competencies alongside their technical training ensures they graduate not only job-ready, but leadership-ready.”

CITE’s dedication to developing industry-relevant, ethically grounded professionals remains stronger than ever. Congratulations to our CpE students—you continue to raise the bar.
