Southville Earns PACUCOA Level IV Accreditation for Four Flagship Programs

BS Nursing, BS Psychology, BS Business Administration, and BS Information Technology Recognized for Excellence

Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) reaffirms its status as a top institution in Philippine higher education by attaining Level IV accreditation—the highest recognition awarded to college programs by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA)—for four of its flagship programs:BS Nursing, BS Psychology, BS Business Administration, and BS Information Technology . The accreditation is valid from August 2025 to 2030, marking a five-year cycle of sustained excellence.

Level IV status is awarded only to programs that demonstrate outstanding outcomes in instruction, research, community engagement, and international linkages. It is the most prestigious level of accreditation under PACUCOA, signifying not just compliance with standards but leadership in academic quality and innovation.

A Strategic Milestone in Southville’s Academic Journey

“The Level IV recognition from PACUCOA is a powerful affirmation of Southville’s commitment to global readiness, values-based education, and continuous improvement,” said Dr. Jocelyn P. Tizon, President of SISC. “It reflects the strength of our faculty, the relevance of our curriculum, and the impact of our graduates in the real world.”

Southville’s Level IV programs are known for their rigorous academic design and strong industry alignment with the Psychology program integrating clinical frameworks and research-based practice, the Nursing program emphasizing global competencies and simulation-based learning, and the Business Administration and Information Technology programs featuring international certifications, entrepreneurial incubation, and real-world immersion.

A Culture of Quality Across Disciplines

In addition to its Level IV programs, Southville also maintains Level III accreditation for Bachelor of Elementary Education, AB Communication, BS Entrepreneurship, and BS Tourism, and Level I formal accreditation for AB Multimedia Arts, BS Accountancy, and the graduate programs-  Master of Arts in  Psychology, Master in Business Administration, and Master in Information Technology.

These accreditations reflect Southville’s institutional culture of strategic benchmarking, faculty development, and outcome-driven education. They also reinforce Southville’s role in shaping future-ready professionals who are equipped to lead in diverse, global contexts.

Leading with Purpose and Excellence

As Southville enters the 2025–2030 accreditation cycle, its PACUCOA Level IV programs stand as pillars of academic leadership—proof that quality, relevance, and innovation are not just goals, but hallmarks of the Southville brand.

This milestone serves as a powerful affirmation of Southville’s unwavering commitment to excellence as it approaches its 35th Foundation celebration this September.
