Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) has secured official recognition from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), marking a significant milestone for its international academic footprint. With this approval, U.S. veterans and eligible dependents are now authorized to study at Southville under VA-sponsored educational benefits.
The approval is formalized through Southville’s inclusion in the VA’s WEAMS (Web Enabled Approval Management System) directory, indicating compliance with U.S. federal standards for international education institutions. This opens opportunities for U.S. military-affiliated students to pursue a range of undergraduate and graduate programs—under provisions like the Post-9/11 GI Bill®.
“This milestone highlights Southville’s international reputation and commitment to educational accessibility,” said Ms. Mary Joy Mansbridge, Registrar of Southville International School and Colleges. “We are honored to welcome U.S. veterans who seek to pursue their academic journey in the Philippines. It is a privilege to serve those who have served.”
Southville’s VA recognition confirms the eligibility of various degree programs that include practical training components—making them highly relevant for real-world application and career readiness.
