Southville Hosts IN2ITION 2025: A Milestone for Youth-Led Internet Governance

The 4th Philippine Youth Internet Governance Forum (PhYIGF), held on May 10, 2025, was a vibrant celebration of youth leadership, digital empowerment, and shared visions for a better online future. Hosted by Southville International School and Colleges through the College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE), the event—titled IN2ITION 2025—brought together students, educators, innovators, and changemakers from across the country.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in powerful talks, dynamic panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and community-building sessions. It was more than a conference—it was a movement. A convergence of voices advocating for inclusive, safe, and rights-based internet governance in the Philippines.

This success was made possible through the collaboration of Southville’s dedicated administration, faculty, and staff, along with our co-organizers and partner institutions whose shared commitment shaped every corner of the forum. We also extend heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors, inspiring speakers, engaged youth organizations, and the behind-the-scenes teams who ensured every detail was flawlessly executed.

“IN2ITION 2025 is a reflection of Southville’s core values—leadership, innovation, and responsibility in the digital age,” said Dr. Aris Ignacio, Dean of CITE. “Seeing our youth take charge in shaping the future of the internet reaffirms our belief in education’s power to transform communities.”

As we look back on this remarkable gathering, we are reminded that digital progress must be inclusive and youth-driven. The conversations sparked during IN2ITION 2025 will continue to influence policies, perspectives, and possibilities for years to come.
